10 Best Places to Visit in Andaman Islands

This once most dreaded island is now one of the best tourist places in India. There are so many places to visit in Andaman, that even an entire week may not suffice. However, it is recommended that you take off to Andaman for a minimum period of five days.

We strongly recommend that you plan far ahead of your journey in order to enjoy every moment there. So make it a point to do your research beforehand and plan a viable itinerary.

Remember that you need to cover up a group of Islands while on this trip, so from commutation to buying food, the time required may not be the same as in the case of a well-developed city. Viper Island

This lesser populated island is great to spend time away from the crowd with your special one. However, despite being one of the best places to visit in Andaman, this island has a dark and tragic history.

That’s because this was the very location where the British used to hang Prisoners. Despite all of that, most adventure freaks love to hang out here because it is dark, yet beautiful.

Cellular Jail

This is the historical jail where the British used to sentence the patriots who rebelled against them. It is one of the most visited tourist places in Andaman since several great freedom fighters were locked up here.

For every patriot, it is a proud moment to step into a place where several brave and mighty freedom fighters were once present. However, a portion of this structure was destroyed during World War II, but some of it is well preserved and worth a visit. This place remains shut on all the Mondays and public holidays.

Radhanagar Beach

Madhuban
